“ Went in for lunch, 12.00 ish, before going to a show at the Winter Gardens. Fairly quiet, being a Weds school day, hence the 4 for atmosphere. Ordered 2 medium Haddock and chips. Really fantastic delicious fish, very crispy batter but if anything, too many chips !! (If that can be considered a negative comment) they must throw a lot of chips away !! Maybe offer half portions of chips. Would definitely recommend this place. Very clean premises, wife was impressed by the cleanliness of the ladies toilets, polite waitress, and Paulo who took our order. There's a lot of chippy's in Blackpool that don't meet the standard required, but this isn't one of them. If you're looking for a nice lunch etc, not wanting robbing, then go to Papas, you won't be disappointed. ”

The food was incredible, the fish is sustainably caught and so many vegetarian options too - i had the 'tofish' in batter which I've never tried before and it was devine! Carolann was so welcoming and friendly from the moment we got there and Martin too. It really makes a difference when you get such great service. ”

The scampi and garlic mushrooms were super crispy. The menu has so much choice, and the restaurant had a nice vibe. ”

“ We came pass by chance and saw a plaque that it won BBCs best takeaway in Britain plaque, so went in. And I can totally see why! I had the best fish and chips in my life (and trust me, I’ve had many). The chips were so nice but in a not too greasy way, the batter was light and crispy and the fish, so fresh. The person who served me was wonderful too, he’s name was Darren, but I also spoke to a Coffey waitress. Everyone was very warm and welcoming, perfect combination to brilliant food. ”
